Double PRIVATE
DELUXE
For those looking for some privacy, our double deluxe rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, linen, towels and soap. Free WIFI.
DOUBLE PRIVATE SUPERIOR
Our most luxurious rooms offer an en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, linen, towels, soap and an iPod dock to play your favorite tunes, a hairdryer and coffee & tea set-up. Free WIFI.
FAMILY ROOM
Our family room comes with a fold-out couch for the little ones. Bathroom is shared. Linen and soap are there, free WIFI too.
SHABBY CABIN
Our cabins are not for everyone - imagine a cute arty shed with no windows and the best bed. A dorm without roommates. Budget, but with the luxury of privacy. Bathrooms are shared. Available with a double bed or two single beds (first comes first serves). Free WIFI.
HIPSTER 5-BED DORM
Funky designed no-bunk-beds-dorm. Ideal for those who like to share but are still hostel-style accommodation beginners. Let's say the 'hipsters' of the bunch.
Bathroom is shared. Linen is always included and your bed will be freshly made upon arrival. All of our dorms are mixed gender. Free WIFI.
LADIES-ONLY DORM
No boys allowed. Think secret pink heaven with no bunk beds, but antique white beds that make you feel like a true princess. This room comes with free nail polish, tampons, glossy magazines, hair dryer and straightener.
Bathroom is shared. Linen and free WIFI included.
Experienced 8-bed dorm
Room designed for the experienced traveler: lots of space, a huge comfy bed with little privacy, your own power outlet and reading light.
Bathroom is shared. Linen is always included and your bed will be freshly made upon arrival. All of our dorms are mixed gender - let's get ready to mingle. Free WIFI.
El cheapo 12-bed

For the traveler on a super tight budget, we offer our El Cheapo 12-bed dorm. You can make your own bed, which is extremely comfy but no real eye pleaser – think military style iron frames. You get no luxurious hotel amenities that the other rooms get and the decor, well, let's say it is perfect for those imaginative travellers. Ideal for those on a shoe-string.

All dorms offer multiple power-outlets and large luggage lockers, which can be locked with a padlock to stow away your valuables. Padlocks can be purchased at reception.

Our reception desk is made of them (vintage books; re-using vintage materials is part of our creative conscious way of living) and our coffee table is stacked with international reads. Hang out in one of our sofas, take a seat and get some work done at our communal table (yes, free WiFi everywhere) or use our swings for your daily exercise routines.
If you're into music, you'll definitely appreciate our vinyl collection.
TEEPEE TENT
MOVIES
We love them. From old-time classics to sci-fi and rom-coms. MAMA makes pop-corn and our teepee tent turns into movie-home-base a couple of nights a week. During the rest of the day, it's up to you what you make of it. The teepee doors are wide open. We love some creativity.
KITCHEN/THE FIX
FAMILY STYLE DINNER
Foodie, on a budget, casual night in? Get behind the stove in MAMA's open kitchen (or for the less experienced chefs amongst us: use the microwave). There's a leftover shelf, and for those who prefer the social over cooking, we host a family style dinner twice a week.
There's THE FIX too – our store-front café, croissanterie, office (yeah to remote working), cocktail bar, city refuge, reading room, tanning salon (yeees, there is a terrace). You get it. It's whatever you want it to be. Oh and the best part: serving Beans, Bowls, Bagels & Booze. thefixbymaiden.com it is.

We have quite some stuff going on. MAMA makes sure you get an experience that is both local and unique. You're able to just hang-out, relax, connect with other travellers and have a great time. We might go out to an organic beer brewery, take you on one of our personalized Red Light district tours or during summer, put on your sunglasses and join us on our canal boat.
The idea is simple. We want you to be able to connect with MAMA's residents, experience the city like an Amsterdammer and share the beauty of it all with your fellow travellers.
